Perfect pizza dough recipe for homemade pizza. This dough is easy to work with and produces a crispy crust.
Ingredients
500g bread flour
325ml warm water
7g active dry yeast
10g salt
15ml olive oil
Semolina flour for dusting
Method
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.
3. Add yeast mixture and olive oil to flour.
4. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
5. Knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
6. Place in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
7. Divide dough into 2 equal portions.
8. Shape each into a ball and let rest for 30 minutes.
9. Stretch dough by hand or roll out to desired thickness.
10. Top with your favorite ingredients.
11. Bake at 250°C for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden.
Tips
Let the dough rest after shaping to prevent it from shrinking back.
